ship (almost) anywhere. Tuk Shop goods are shipped from
Canada, and our on-line store will ship to addresses in Canada
and the United States. We're happy to send Tuk stuff to customers
outside North America, but be aware that orders shipped to international
addresses may have additional local taxes, administrative charges,
and customs duties added when they arrive in the destination
country. (See below for additional details.)

All
prices quoted are in Canadian dollars. We price our Tuk
products in Canadian dollars. The currency exchange rate is
approximately $1.00 US = $1.22 CDN, but check
here for today's exchange rate. For U.S. and other international
orders, our prices will be automatically converted by your credit
card company and shown on your statement in your local currency.
Taxes
Canada's GST (Goods and Services Tax, a value-added tax that's
currently seven percent) will be applied to your order if it
is shipped to a Canadian address. No provincial sales tax will
be applied. Your final total, including applicable taxes, will
be shown before you commit to your order.
US and other international orders are not taxed GST. Note that
you may have to pay local taxes or other charges when the goods
arrive in the destination country. (See
below for additional details.)
Shipping
Shipping charges will be applied to your order. There are two
shipping options, one for destinations
in Canada and one for shipping to the USA, each with its own
shipping charge. Your final total, including shipping charges
based on the shipping method you choose, will be shown before
you commit to your order. If you have called us at (780) 916-0973
to arrange shipping outside Canada and the United States, our
staff will help you select a suitable shipping method and will
confirm the shipping charges for you. If you want faster shipping
to any destination, within or outside of Canada, call us to
select an expedited shipping method and we'll tell you the shipping
time and costs.
Orders Shipped Outside Canada
As of this writing, US customers need not pay customs duties
on orders under $100 US (roughly $132 Canadian). Beyond that,
check with a local customs office or divide your order so that
no single order exceeds $100 US.
Our on-line store only ships to Canada and the United States.
If you're sending an order outside these two countries, call
us at (780) 916-0973 to place your order and arrange shipping.
Customers shipping goods to addresses outside North America
may have to pay import duties, customs charges, or value-added
taxes, especially on large orders. These charges must be paid
upon receipt of your order. Please check the destination country's
local
customs office or other involved authority for details.
Currency Conversion
All our web prices are in Canadian dollars. All shipping and
handling charges shown are also in Canadian dollars. If you
are making a purchase with a credit card from a country other
than Canada, your credit card company will calculate the currency
conversion and automatically bill you in your own currency.
You can estimate the merchandise cost in your own currency.
View your Shopping Basket to get the total cost of your order,
then use this site
to convert the Canadian dollars to your own currency. Note that
you may never get the exact conversion rate for your purchase,
since the actual conversion is performed by your credit card
company only after we ship your order.
