It's
easy to buy stuff at the Tuk Shop. You can shop as long
as you want without buying anything. You can choose whether
or not to complete your order and pay after selecting all the
items you're interested in, and after we help you calculate
the applicable shipping charges and Canadian taxes. If you don't
want to continue at that point, you can leave the store without
paying.

Internet, we can accommodate you. Please

Shop without dropping
If
you've done Internet shopping before, you may be familiar with
the ideas of placing goods into a "basket," then "viewing" the
basket, and finally, "order check-out."
If you haven't shopped on the Internet before, here's
how it works in the Tuk Shop:

Once you go into the store section of the site, you can look
for products under the category you want. Our clothing is
under Tuk Wear, and our paper products (like degree
certificates) are under Paper Your Walls. We first
show brief descriptions, and if you see something that interests
you, you can click on it to see a full description.

When you see something you want to buy, you can click on the
button called "Add to Basket." At the same time, you can select
colours or sizes, and choose to add
a card to your item or have it gift-wrapped. Note: at this
point, you have not yet bought anything. We place each item
in an electronic "shopping basket" to hold for you
until you have finished shopping and are ready to complete
your order. (To order more than one of the same item, but
in different sizes or colors, place the orders one at a time.
Our shopping software will return you to the same page after
each order.)
- At
any time while you're shopping, you have the opportunity to
add more items to your shopping basket, or to remove or change
the items you've already selected, or to cancel the order.
- From
within any of the store pages, you can click "Your Basket"
to take a look at the contents of your shopping basket.
- From
the shopping basket page, you can return to the store to continue
browsing or shopping, or you can check out (complete) your
order. You can also remove items from your basket, or you
can change the quantity of any item you are ordering.
- When
you are ready to order, click the "Check Out" button. If you
are a registered customer, you can log in and your existing
contact information will be retrieved. If you are not a registered
customer, you will need to enter your contact information
and ship-to address in the provided on-line form. You may
also enter a separate bill-to address if you are shipping
to an address different from your own. It is at this point
that we encrypt (encode) your information for your
security.
- Note:
The on-line Tuk Shop only ships to Canada and the United States.
For other destinations, or for faster shipping methods than
the ones we offer on-line, call us at (780) 916-0973 to set
up shipping. (Please note that we will not ship orders COD.)
For Canada and the USA, we provide two shipping methods (see
details here). You need to select the appropriate method
under "Ship Via":

Parcel to Canadian Destination:a
low-cost way to ship to a Canadian destination.

Parcel to US Destination:an
economical way to ship to the United States.
Customers
that are shipping to NWT addresses
should check
our list of retail outlets in the NWT.
- Once
you've selected your shipping method, select your credit card
type. Click on "Continue" to move to the next step
- you still haven't bought anything, so you can easily cancel
your order by leaving the web site.
- We
now calculate the total cost of your order, including taxes
and shipping. If you wish to complete the order, enter your
credit cardholder name, number, and expiration date. Click
on "Continue" to complete your order.
- You
will receive a confirming note by e-mail within a few minutes,
and your order will be shipped within two business days. Your
credit card will not be charged until the order is shipped.
